Referees & Scoring
- The referee will be done by official referees. They are refereeing for the players and offer there spair time. Therefor we are certain you will treat them with respect !
- The players, taking part at the tournament, are politely asked to take place behind the scoring table for one or two times. The team will take care of BOTH FIELDS.
Superior Rule
- The tournament committee decides in every case where the rules do not provide.
In general
Basketball Club Flashing Heiloo takes no responsibility concerning:
- Physical and/or other damage or harm done to persons and/or goods during their stay in or out the sportsarena / sleeping place.
- Loss of club and/or personal properties during the tournament. Best way to make sure you don’t lose them is to put all valuable things in a bag and 1 person keeping it.
Playing Rules
- The games will last 25 minutes with non-stop time.
- Each team can have only one time-out per game.
- It is not allowed to take a time-out in the last 5 minutes.
- The 4th personal fault is disqualifying (for the game).
- Both man-to-man and zone-defence are allowed.
- It is possible to end a game with an equal score.
- Further the rules are the same as in the regular competition.
- Before every game there will be 3 minutes to warm up and shoot some balls
- When a team arrives 5 minutes too late at the field it will be declared lost 15 - 0.
- If teams do not appear to scoring it means two points loss for that team.
- A victory is 2 points, a draw 1 point and loss 0 points.
- When two teams have an equal amount of points, respectively the result of their game, score surplus, score minus will be decisive.
